I think that reality TV persever for example campus superstar, star idol, fear factor which were being aired on TV were just for entertainment purposes for the teenagers.

In my own opinion, the shows like superstar/campus superstar etc, i think that it is a waste of money to vote for their favourite contestant. I think that the contestants should use their own abilities to compete with one another instead of depending on their fans. I really thinks that it is not fair because what if one of the contestant is rich...he/she will surely call their parents to vote more...

As for fear factor, I think is just for enterainment for some of us. It doesnt have any value knowledge..They shows us how they got to overcome through those dangerous stunts and eating disghusting things like live insects, aninmal's body parts..and just to get the prize (money)..I think it is damn GROSS...(>.<)
